The three photographs that identify a concrete leak

Most water ingress through concrete can be narrowed to one or two causes from photographs alone, provided the right three are taken. The set below is what any competent waterproofer will ask for, and taking them properly saves a visit that only establishes what a photograph could have.

They are also worth taking for your own records, dated, before anything is repaired. If the leak returns a year later, a before-and-after pair from the same position is the only evidence that settles what changed.
