About

Who actually does the work

Dryside is the injection and leak-sealing division of S&S Remedial Services Pty Ltd — waterproofing and concrete repair specialists working across South East Queensland. Same licence, same insurance, same people; a narrower job.

The reason for a separate name is straightforward. Injection is a specialist trade with its own chemistry, its own equipment and its own failure modes, and it sits inside a general waterproofing business as one line on a long list. Pulled out on its own it can be documented properly: published rates, a written method with real numbers, a diagnostic that tells you when not to use us, and a job library built from real jobs rather than stock photographs.

What we do, and what we don't

We seal defined water paths through concrete and masonry: cracks, construction and cold joints, kicker joints, tie-bolt holes, honeycombing, and — where the ground itself has to be treated — curtain injection behind the wall.

We do not do concrete cancer repair, rising damp treatment, balcony or rooftop membranes, or general remedial building. Those are real trades and they are done properly next door at S&S Remedial. If your problem turns out to be one of them, we will tell you and hand you across rather than injecting something that will not work.

Credentials you can check yourself

  • QBCC licence 15438819 — the register is public, and it is worth checking ours as well as anyone else's
  • ABN 31 669 060 753
  • Based at Unit 1 / 27 Old Pacific Hwy, Yatala QLD 4207
  • Certificates of currency for public liability and workers compensation available on request

Why the prices are on the website

Because the alternative is what this trade currently does: a single number with no working shown, which is why three quotes for the same job never agree. Publishing the rates means you can check ours, and it means we have to be able to defend them.

It also means we lose some jobs on price and win others on being the only quote that showed its arithmetic. That trade is fine by us. The cost guide and the price book are both public and neither asks for your email address.

The team

Injection is done by a small crew rather than a rotating pool of subcontractors, which is why the method on this site is the method you actually get. Named profiles for the technicians who will turn up at your property are being added here — with their real licences and years in the trade, not stock photographs.

In the meantime, ask on the phone who is coming and what they have done before. It is a reasonable question and you should get a specific answer.

Send us a photo and we'll tell you what it is

Most leaks can be identified from three photos and a couple of questions. If it needs eyes on it, the site visit is free — and if injection is the wrong fix we'll say so and tell you who to ring instead.
